Pray for Aguiar

Aguiar is a self-proclaimed Spiritist/Catholic. The implications of this in regards to his salvation are something like this. Work hard to exercise love, forgiveness and charity all the days of my life (Catholic part) so that my soul can evolve from one life to the next producing in me the goodness necessary to be accepted by God (Spiritist part). In lay terms: salvation by works. "The Passion of Jesus Christ" by John Piper has served us well to explore the gospel and all it's truth with Aguiar. He is ever so slowly connecting some dots - but has not yet been granted faith and eyes to see! Please pray with us for this man. He has a beautiful family that is simply falling apart because of selfish, sinful, unforgiven pride.

Aguiar is evolving for sure - but not in the way he would hope! I cannot take you into his living room to listen in on a study -but I beg you to pray for us every Monday evening. May the Spirit of God illuminate his understanding of the true gospel - JESUS PAID IT ALL!

Light in Darkness

I am deeply excited about an opportunity God has granted. Our local video store rents out all sorts of books as well as movies. In talking with the owner, Tiago agreed to make available some books of my choice - gospel centered books! I stopped by last night with these three to begin with. "The Passion of Jesus Christ" and "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper. "The Gospel According to Jesus" by John MacArthur. Tiago cleared out a section of his frequently read books and placed mine right on the middle shelf! I cannot tell you how much this means, especially in a community like ours! We can scarcely find these books in Christian bookstores here - much less in a video store. Tiago says that his books go out more frequently than his movies and that he is sure people will read them. Please pray that this will happen and that many would repent and believe in Christ for the forgiveness of sins. I have included my name and address inside the book cover for assistance in understanding any ideas in the books. I will keep you posted as to the repercussions of this evangelistic method. May God be glorified!

Juliana Noelle Taylor

We are excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Juliana Noelle. She was born March 11 at 3:38 AM, weighs 7 lb 6oz, and is 18 inches long. She came a week past her due date, but when she decided she was ready to come, she came quickly, for which mommy is grateful. She is beautiful and healthy and we are so thankful for this precious gift from God.
